Lunch for training days and onboarding

A training day runs on a schedule, and lunch has to fit inside it. With box lunches, people grab their own sandwich or salad on the break and you're back on the agenda without waiting on a buffet line. Add a few gallons of tea or lemonade and the room is set for the afternoon.

  • Starting at $15 per person
  • $150 minimum (10 lunches)
  • 5-day notice
  • Delivery from $25 base fee

Why box lunches

Why box lunches fit a training day

Short breaks stay short

Everyone takes a box at once. A 30-minute lunch actually stays 30 minutes.

Nothing sitting out all afternoon

Each lunch is packed on its own, so there are no open trays on the back table during the afternoon session.

Drinks for the whole day

Order tea and lemonade by the gallon, or bottled water, and keep people going after lunch.

Budgeting for the whole room

Box lunches start at $15 per person. Chicken on a salad, drinks for the afternoon, delivery and tax are added on top. Build your order and you'll see your total, what it works out to per person, and the deposit before you send anything.

Before you order

Planning lunch for a training day

  1. Count trainers and staff too

It's easy to order for attendees and forget the people running the day.

  2. Order as soon as the date is set

We need at least 5 days' notice. Training dates are usually fixed early, so put lunch on the checklist then.

  3. Plan drinks for the afternoon

A gallon pours about ten 12-ounce cups. For a full day, plan more than you would for a one-hour meeting.

  4. Note when your break is

Put your lunch break time and drop-off instructions in the request notes so we can confirm them with your quote.

FAQ

Questions we get a lot

Can you feed a big class?

Yes. Set your headcount on the order page and choose a lunch for each person. The minimum is $150. For a really big group, give us a call first so we can plan it with you.

Can I add protein to the salads?

Yes. Some of our salads can have chicken added; the order page shows which ones and the price.

Do you do recurring trainings?

Right now each order is its own request. If you run the same training every month, just send a new request each time and mention it's a repeat.

What comes in a box lunch?

Our individually packed box lunches includes choice of a salad or sandwich with chips and a chocolate chip cookie.

How much does it cost?

Box lunches start at $15 per person. Drinks and extra desserts are priced separately, delivery starts at a $25 base fee, and there's 8.25% sales tax on the food. The total on the order page is an estimate; your quote has the final number.
